Seven questions to ask an outreach provider before paying

A short checklist for a more useful buying conversation.

1–2. What is delivered, and who does it?

Ask whether you are purchasing credentials, software, research, manual outreach, or appointment setting. Then identify the person or team accountable for delivery. These answers establish what kind of agreement you need.

3–4. Who controls the profile, and what is represented?

Confirm that account access remains with its owner. Ask how the professional will describe their relationship with your company, and ensure that description is truthful. Do not assume a branded profile proves employment or endorsement.

5. What happens to prospect information?

Ask what information is collected, how it is shared, who can access it, and how long it is kept. The answer should match the scope of the service and the applicable obligations, rather than a vague promise of unlimited data.

6. How are outcomes defined?

Distinguish messages sent, replies, relevant conversations, and appointments. Ask what makes an appointment qualified and what happens if the work misses the agreed scope. Clarify reporting before relying on a performance claim.

7. How does the engagement end?

Read cancellation, refund, renewal, and handoff provisions. Confirm how ongoing conversations and retained information are handled. Apply the same questions when evaluating Akountify or any other provider; clear terms make the comparison meaningful.
